ISRO's Aditya L1 to launch at 11:50 am today: will study Sun from 15 lakh km from Earth, reach Lagrange point in four months Bengaluru9 minutes ago After the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is gearing up to study the Sun. For this, Aditya L1 spacecraft will be launched from Sri Harikota using PSLV XL rocket at 11.50 am today. Aditya L1 will be the first Indian mission to study the Sun. The spacecraft will reach Lagrange Point-1 (L1) 4 months after launch. Eclipses have no effect on this point, making it easy to study the Sun from here. The estimated cost of this mission is Rs 378 crore. Aditya spacecraft will take about 120 days or 4 months to reach the L1 point. These 120 days will be completed on 31 December 2023. If the mission is successful and the Aditya spacecraft reaches L1, it will be another major achievement for ISRO in 2023.
